There was a fairish representation of both Home and continental buyers, as well as the usual attendance of local buyers, and competition at times was particularly keen. The wool, with fewexceptions, being practically the clearings up of the season; was not in anything like the condition of that offered at previous sales, but the prices realised, came fully up to our valuations, and we cleared our entire catalogue,, which we consider extremely satisfacfactory. The following is our range of prices:—Halfbred 7Jd to 9d, threequarterbred sid to 7Jd, crossbred 5Ad to 7£d, merino 6£d to 7£d, matted and rotted 5d to 6ijd, pieces 4Jd to 7id, bellies 3Jd to locks 3d to 4d.

Guinness and LeCren, 1 imited, report holding the fourth and last wool side of the season, when a catalogue of 881 bales was submitted by t-i- associated brokers, 'i here w;:s a large and representative j-ltendance of buyers, each of whom r'.emed ;:u>ious to obtain some of :he .-.•nail ( iinuiry of wool offering. The ionsequence ttj.s a complete clearance was made, and prices in many cases were considerably better than those ruling at the last sale. The most marked feature in our catalogue was the keen demand for merino. We wish to take this opportunity of thanking our friends for the support that has been accorded to us during the past Reason, and congratulate them upon what can only be considered very satisfactory results, as compared witli what was anticipated prior to the opening of the local sales. During the season we have sold at auction £342 bales, being an increase of just 1000 bales over our record for any previous year.
