WAIMATAITAI V. TRINITY. A return match between the Waimataitai Wesleyan team and Trinity's Ji team was played yesterday afternoon on the Waimataitai court, and resulted in a win for Trinity by 25 games. Owing to the failing light, the tennis match Post Office and Telegraph v. Trinity, played yesterday, was not completed, two sets having . yet to be played. The match lias reached an intreesting stage, the totals at present being—Post and Telegraph 82, Trinity 81. Both clubs are indebted to the Wesley Club who kindly lent their court for the match. Afternoon tea, which was greatly appreciated, was provided by the Trinity Club. The two unplayed sets —first men's singles and firstjadies' doubles will be played off at the post office court this evening and Monday evening, respectively.
