WELLINGTON, Jan. 23. The weather' was fine but dull, the track fast, and the attendance fair, for the concluding day's race's. Only one first favourite succeeded during the day. S. Reid, rider of Consolation in the -Wallaceville Welter, ■ was disqualified for 12 months for interference and not : trying to win.
