TEMUKA STOCK SALE. At this sale yesterday there was an (exceptionally good yarding- of.both, sheep, and cattle. The attendance was good. The sheep market -was good, though at times dragging. TINWALD STOCK SALE. ; Per Press Association. ASHBURTON. February 20. At Tinwald yards to-day there "was a fairly good yarding of cattle, the entries totalling about 40 head. Bidding was dull. Store steers sold at £4 12s 6d to £5 10s, cows £5 10s, heifers £3 10s to £4 2s 6d. There was a good yarding of sheep, about 4000. Most of the lots offered were sold and on the whole the sale was a good one. The sales effected were—s fat lambs at 14s 9d, 67 ditto at • 14s, 170 ditto at 13s 6d. 77 ditto at 10s 4d, 10 ditto at .14s 4d, 7 ditto at 13s Id, 47 fat ewes at 12s 6d, 27 ditto at 12s sd, 429 4 and 6-tooth wethers at 15s lid, 640 2-tooth wethers at 13s lOd (passed), 390 failing mouth ewes at 9s, 95 ewes at 3s Id. 90 lambs at 6s lOd, 267 ditto at 10s Bd.
