BISCUITS AXD YACHT STOLEN".
Per Press Association.
NELSON. February 19.
A young man named David Morris was charged today with breaking and entering Kirkpatrick's Jam Factory and stealing biscuits, etc., and also with stealing a twoton yacht from Mr Jceeph Senior, of Motueka. It appears that Morris coolly took the yacht, sailed it to Nelson, broke into the factory, and took the provisions. He was captured on board in the act of regaling himself on the good*. Accused refused to stand in the dock, and was given a chair on the lloor of the Court. He was remanded for medical examination
on bail, as it was thought that his mind is unbalanced owing to a sunstroke.
