AFFILIATION. An affiliation case was adjourned for one week.

PROHIBITION. A prohibition order was issued against a labourer on his own application.

WANDERING CATTLE.

Cornelius Crimmins pleaded not guilty to a charge of allowing a cow to wander Constable Miller gave evidence that he saw the cow wandering at the end of North street. He described it to Mrs Crimmins, and she admitted that it was her cow. Defendant said that he did not admit that, it was his cow, and did not know of its being at large. His Worship warned defendant to be more particular, and dismissed the case. BICYCLE. BY-LAW. A- cyclist was fined 5s and costs for riding in the borough after dusk without a light.
