The Southlanders appeared to have bad ao much taken out of them that when they had the wind m their favour, although practically opposed by only 14 men (MoKay having been hurt) they were not able to ecoro till the call of time when a try was scored. The game waa good on the whole, but there was too much line>out play m the first spell, the visitors trying to nullify the effeota of the wind.
