(Br Telegraph.) WELLINGTON, AraiL 22. All deferred payment settlers who aro in arrears aro to bo sued at once for the amounts in which they aro indebted to tho Government. Tho full amounts under the old valuation will bo sued for, but as tho new valuations aro almost complete it is intended to exact only the sums which would be payable under the new and reduced valuations. The balance will be held in abeyance UDtil Parliament considers the matter. Kato Brewer, who was badly burnt, owing to her clotheß catching fire a fortnight ago, died at tho hospital this morning. DUNEDIN, Ai-bil 22. Surveyor Wilmot's party have returned from an overland trip to the West Coast.. They explored the country between the Clinton river and To Anau, but could find do practicable route. The Scandinavian Company, St Bathans, havo washed up 400 ounces. OAMARU, Apeil £2. A stock of wheat valued at between £G0 and £70 was destroyed this morning nt Pukerui. It was insured for £50 in tho Equitablo office.
