Jan. 13. At the Addington stock sales to-day, lighter entries of stock were yarded than has been tho caso for some time past. The attendance of buyers was also a limited ono. Pat cattlo. — This markot was fairly well supplied, principally medium quality. Tho demand was not very brisk, but irregnlar, lato values about ruling. Steers sold at from .£6 to _8 10s ; heifers, £i 15s to £G 17s 6d, being 17s to 19s por 1001b according to quality. Fat sheep. — Only a limited supply, and principally o£ a very medium quality. Tho enquiry was quite confined to local requirements and was very dull. Crossbred wethers sold at from 7s Gd to 10s per head, ditto owes 5s to Gs, merino wethors 4s Gd to 6s 6d. Storo sheep.— Only a small entry, aud but little demand. A line of good shorn hoggets sold at 6s ld per head, and a lino of two-tooth crossbred (mixed sexes) at 5s 9d and 5s lOd. Fat lambs were iu good supply, selling at from 4s to Gs 9d per head. There was only a small entry of pigs, all being cleared at lato values. In storo cattlo there was a medium entry with a fair domand, but no alteration in values to note.
