The Cavlists are becoming troublesome, and. outbreaks have occurred on the frontier. Troops have been despatched to the menaced points, and precautions taken to prevent the insurgents from crossing over from Franco, or centralising m any considerable number. A band of Carlists attacked the barracks m Salos de Losinfant and m the Province of Burgos, where numbers of their friends were imprisoned. They suceeded m entering the building, and after releasing the prisoners burned it to the ground. The CaptainGeneral of Catalonia has been summoned to Madrid, accused of socialistic intrigues, and of corresponding with the supporters of Don Carlos. An express train has been thrown from the track on the Barcelona and Valencia railway, caused by a land slide. The engine was turned over and demolished. The total number of victims by the disaster is unknown. Seven dead bodies have been recovered, twenty-two passengers were injured, some fatally.
