NEW PUMPING MACHINERY.
(BY TKLBQIIAPH -PRBBB ASSOCIATION.) Napiek, March 2. The Corporation has formally taken over the new waterworks pumping plant, supplied by the Glenfield Company, Kilmariiock. It is the largest phut of the kind in the colony. The pumps are guaranteed to lift- nearly a million and a half gallons in 24 hours. 1 On trial this was easily exceeded.
