Wellington, July 29. A well attended meeting of shooting men was held last oveuing, Oapluin Oollins, Hon. Treasurer, presiding. A strong: committee was appointed to draft regulations. It was decided lo communicate with Major Sommorvillo, chairman of the New Zealand Riflo Association, urging him to endeavour to arrange a Victorian and Now South I Wales rifle competition being held at the close of the intervals, in order that the New Zealand representatives might I attend both gatherings.'
