HEAVY RAIN FALL.

Wellington, July 29 • Very heavy rain foil last night. This morning a slip came down at the baok of the Star Hotel/Lambton Quay, and crushed in a store containing spirits, oto. • The damage is estimated at £100. Tho debris stove in the brick wall of an adjoining store, formerly used as an auction mart by Noble, Oampboll, and Co. The damage is considerable A sfeiff nor*easter is blowing.
