A schoolgirl was orerheard trying to convince t school-fellow that she liked him better than she did some other urchin of whom he seemed jejlous. "Of Course, 1 like you better than 1 do Bill," she said, " for don't I iniss words in my spelling lesson on purpose, so as to be down at the foot of the glass where you ate ?"
