MISS CONSTANCE REILLY.' New Plymouth folk are showing by ,their attendances that they appreciate really good music, vocal or instrumental and the concert on Wednesday next alf the Workers’ Social Hall should giro much enjoyment of both sorts. Miss Constance Reilly is singing a bracket of three delightful pieces, Cowen’s Snow Flakes,” the delightful “Will 0’ the Wisp” of Spross, and MacDermid’s “If you would love me.’’ A firie song is Dell Arqua’s “Chanson Provencole, and Miss Rielly will also sing tho difficult but most delightful “Nua Picurella” (Salvator Rosa) of Gowe’s Mr. Gordon Maoßeth is well known in Warfganui as a brilliant pianist with strong musical personality, but he has not appeared in New Plymouth for some years if at all. Mr. Eldon Moore, the Wellington baritone, who is much liked in Hawera, will sing amongst other songs, Sanderson’s “Last Call” and “Tired Hands,” and in contrast Allitsen’s spirited “Song of Thanksgiving,” and an excerpt from Donizetti’s opera founded on the lurid story of “Lucrezia Borgia,” “Vieve la nica Vendetta.” Miss Daisy Reilly will accompany her sistei- and Mr. Moore. The box plan is now open at Collier’s. Prices 3s and 2s.
