BOXING.
A meeting of the committee of the Taranaki Boxing Association was -held last night, when it was reported that everything is now in readiness for the tournament to bo held on Thursday, July 29. That keen interest ia being evinced in the meeting of T. Thompson and Frank Brown, the winners of the recent tournament, is shown by the number of applications that have already been received for seats though the plan has not yet been opened.
