Almost the whole of the State has greatlv benefited, and the outlook is vastly improved. It is claimed to have saved the wheat crop from disaster, hundreds of fanners from bankruptcy, and that it will enable pasloi'alists to save many of their breeding stock, which otherwise would have perished or had to bo sacrificed.—Aus.-N.Z. It is now assured that the area sown will largely sown paddocks will require re-sowing, the rain fell.
