SEVEN PARTIES. TAKING PART IN ELECTIONS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright, (Received June 7, 9.50 a.m.) PARIS, June 6. Seven parties are participating in today’s elections in Germany. There are 2500 candidates including 250 women. CONSERVATIVE GAINS PROBABLE. LONDON, June 4. Well-informed -authorities anticipate the Gorman elections will show 7 a marked swing towards the Right. It is estimated tho Conservatives, Pan-Germans, and Militarists .people’s party will gain from 30 to 35 seats; that tho Majority Socialists will lose heavily, possibly 70; that the antiMilitarists and Democrats will lose a third, and the Independent Socialists may gain, perhaps 50. It is feared that, whatever may be tho result, the Socialists and Communists will raise trouble. —Times Service. SURRENDER OF AIRSHIPS. PARIS, June 5. Lo Journal says that -workers at the Zeppelin factories in Germany are opposing the surrender of the large airships at Bodensee and Nordistern, on tho ground that their loss will seriously prejudice the future interests of aviation in Germany.—Aus.-N.Z. The commander of the constabulary acconipauies the ex-Kaiser when motor driving. The reasons for these precautions arc not disclosed, but are attributed to a possible revolt following the Gorman elections. —United Service.
