HUNTING.

NORTH TARANAKI HOUNDS. The North Taranaki hounds met at the homestead of Mr. and Mrs. 1 ■ Sampson, Sentry Hill, on Thursday afternoon. The weather was very favourable and there was a good attendance of followers and spectators-. The country had been well spared and il ere were some excellent jumping, notwithstanding the fact that there were one of two spills during the afternoon. Mr. A. H. Haicombe, master, in a few appropriate remarks expressed the thanks ot the hunt to Mr. and Mrs. Sampson, and its appreciation for the support and kindness they had always extended.
