INGLEWOOD-STRATFORD MATCH
The Inglewood-Stratford match resulted in a win for the latter ciub by one game, and the result shows how closely the games were contested. The following are the results of the fourball match, nine holes (Stratford players are mentioned first): AA’right and Christie, 2 down, to Gudgeon and Darlow. Abraham and Stanford, 2 up, to P. O’Carroll and Law. Spence and Uniacke, 4 down, to C. O’Carroll and Surrey. Hill and Malone, 2 down, to Brown and Sutherland. AVinter and Anderson, 3 up, to AA’agstaff and Marshall. Peattie and' Lyons, 4 up, to Cutfield and AVinfield. The singles (18 holes) resulted :—- AA’right, 5 up and three to ploy, to Gudgeon. Christie, 5 down and three to play, to Darlow. Abraham, 2 down and one to play, to iP. O’Carroll. Stanford, 2 up and one to play, to Law. Spence, 3 down and one to play, to C. O’Carroll. Winter, 2 up and one to play, to Brown. Hill, 4 down, to Johnston. Malone, all square to Sutherland. Uniacke, 6 down and 5 to play to Surrey. Anderson, 2 up and one to play to Wagstaffi. Peattie, 3 up and one to play to Marshall.
