LEVEL CROSSING ACCIDENT

VERY NARROW ESCAPE. Per Press Association. DANNBVIRKE, June 4. A miraculous escape from a fatal accident occurred this morning at the Allardice Street crossing when a motor driven by Mrs. I 1 isher, of Te Rehuiiga, collided with tho train. Mrs. Fisher was the only occupant of the car and she was thrown to the front part, the cushion with her on it being then caught by the cow-catcher of the engine and carried about 100 yards till the train pulled up. Mrs. Fisher sustained bruises and is suffering from shock. The car was smashed to splinters.
