The Fitzroy Club played a progressive pairs tournament on Tuesday. Ten pairs entered and a most enjoyable day was spent by all. Binnie and Jury (sk.) proved the winners, going through the day without a loss. Other scores were: Brooker and Chivors, 4 wins and 1 loss; Northern and M‘Neill, Dingle and Abbott, and Hill and Allen, 3 wins and 2 losses each ; Solo and Rennell, Oxenham and Price, and Buckle and Jackson, 2 wins and 3 losses each; Glendinning and Bundle, 1 win and 4 losses; Gillespie and Healy, 5 losses.
