ATTEMPTED MURDER.
OF A -YOUNG CHILD. BEE TOES? ASSOCIATION. MLVNGANUI, Jan. 25. Catherine Milne, aged 25, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court to-day to a obaVge of Ithe attempted murder of Fidelis May Barron, aged 3i years, and suicide. Evidence showed that accused dissolved antiseptic pills and administered the solution to the girl, and then took some herself. She then gave the alarm, assistance was quickly at hand, and both recovered. Accused waa committed to the ■ Supreme Court for sentence.
