STRONG FEELING AROUSED. OVER LOSS OF GULFINGHT. (Received May 4, 0.5 a.m.) LONDON, May 3. Reuter’s Washington correspondent says the torpedoing of the Gulfiight created a stir in official circles, and the gravity of the situation is everywhere admitted. The New York World declares that this is by far tho most serious ease involving the United States under tho war zone. It adds that Germany must be strictly held accountable.
