A case, equalling tho Orippen murder, has developed hero with tho discovery of tho dismembered body of a woman in tho rivor. Tho torso was found first, afterwards tho head and then other remains by which tho wonym was identified as Annette Day, aged tivonty-threo, a machine operator for women’s garments. Sho-was engaged to a young married surgeon, who recently disappeared. Tho police assort that tho dismembering of the-body was undoubtedly done by someone accustomed'to surgical work.
