FIRES.
HOUSE DESTROYED. Per Press Association. GISBORNE, Feb. 12. A six-roomed house owned by Mr. J. S. Hinton and occupied by Mr. Harry Ashton was destroyed by fire last night. The origin of the outbreak is unknown. There is an insurance of £2lO on the furniture in the Australian Alliance Office.
