Fat lambs — There were 225 fat lambs penned, including a good proportion oi very prime and some lots that were on the small side. For best lambs prices were fully equal to those of last week, and rather better in some cases. Prime well-grown lambs made 17s to 19s 3d, smaller 12s 6d to 16s 6d.

Fat sheep. — Prime wethers 19s to 23.s Gd, extra to 24s 9d, lighter 15s 3d to 18s Od, merino wethers 13s to 15a £>d, prime <«w'es' 17s Gd'To 20s 6d, medium 15s to 17s, others 13s to 14s Od, hoggets 16s 9d to 17s 6(1, shorn wethers 15s '9d to 18s sd, shorn ewes 10s 9d to 14s 3d, shorn merino wethers 9s, shorn hoggets 10s lOd.

Fat cattle. — Prime steer beef made 25s to 295, medium 22s 6d to 24s Gd, and com and inferior 19s to 22s per 10011). Steers ranged from £6 5s to £11, extra to £13 7s 6d, heifers £5 12s 6d to £10 2s 6d, cows £5 to £10 ss.

Store cattle. — Yearlings made 16s to 22s Gel, 2-year steers £2 12s Gd, 2-year heifers £3 3s. 3-year steers in good condition £4 5s to £5 7s, 3-year heifers £3 11s to £3 12s 6d, dry cows 15s to t3 10s. Tho Southland cattle realised for calves 14s, 12 to 15-months 2 is, 18-months 365, 2-year-olds £2 10s, 2\ to 3-ycars £3 ss.

Piy.s. — Choppers up to to, heavy baconcrs 60s to 80s, smaller to 58s fequal to 6d per lb), large porkers 12s to 50s, lighter 38s to Us (equal to G\d per lb), large stores 35s to 'H)s, smaller 2"5s to 31s, weaners 20s to 255. A line of 50 half-bred Tamworths made 40s to 525.
