REFRIGERATION OF PRODUCE.
INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS.
By Electric Telegraph: — Copyright. LONDON, Sept. 12. Thirty Governments will participate in the congress on the question of refrigeration to be opened at Paris on October sth. Mr T. A. Coghlan, AgentGeneral for New South Wales, will read a paper on the State encouragement given by various countries to the refrigerating industry; Mr Gilbert Anderson a paper on N©w Zealand meat inspection form the international standpoint*, Mr Lowe a paper on artificial cold in the manufacture and preservation of butter; and Mr Walter Preedy on on colonial produce capable of benefiting by refrigeration. Scienr tine papers will also be read by Sir WilRamsay, Samuel Rideaf, Dr. Collingrujge (Officer of Health for the City of London) and others.
