DIVORCE.

AUCKLAND, Sept. 10. , At the Supreme Court this morning, before Mr. Justice Edwards, j Lucie Caroline Maxwell, of Rotorna, "Bought a dissolution of her marriage with Christopher Maxwell- There , was /no" appearance of respondent. .Petitioner said she was married to respondent in 1895 at Rawhene, Hokianga. \ There were two children, the issue of the marriage. In January, 1905., her husband was appointed Resident Commissioner at Niue, in the Cook Islands, and doring 1906 committed adultery with a native woman there. Petitioner discovered her husband misconducting in June, 1907, and had not since lived with him. Letters from respondent admitting the misconduct were put in, and the hearing was adjourned pending the production of the marriage certificate.
