LADIESj TOURNAMENT. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Sept. 10. To. all intents and purposes-, the ladies' hockey tournament was concluded at Day's Bay this afternoon. Wellington A won the junior championship* by one ppint on. Tuesday afternoon.. Only senior games 1 were played, to-day. Hawke's Bay beat Nelson by 1 goal to nil, and so came through the tourney without a loss. They have defeated every other senior team, and won the championship by a good margin. Their raatcn c with Nelson, however, , nearly spoilt their.' record, for it was not won until right on the call of time. It was the best and keenest game of the whole series. Wairarapa A beat Wellington B by 6 to nil, and. ' Wellington A and Wairarapa B each had byes. The tournament finishes to-morrow. -
