B. Lusk^ beat Major Gordon j Kurupo 'Tareha beat H. T. Hamilton ; G. T. Thorburn beat F. T. Boyosj A. Barraud beat E. A. Dargaville; E. S. Pearce beat Kawhi; and J. S, r Circuitt beat W. J» Peacock. The f ollowingwere the scores in the match for thePWill^ams Cup : — Napier No. 1 team; 357; Auckland, 378:Manawatu, 380/ i Christohuroh, 386; Napier, No. 2, 386; Wellington, 391. The men's handicap one round stroke competition was won by G. M. Phara-. zyn with a gross score of 90, handicap 12, net .78. J. Circuitt was second with a gross score of 92, handicap 11, net 81.
