ART EXHIBITION.
PALMERSTON N., Sept. 9.' The first exhibition of the Manawatu Art Society was opened to-night by His Excellency the Governor. The exhibition comprises pictures from all the principal New Zealand artists, and it is claimed that it, is one of the finest of its kind yet held in the Dominion. It will be open for the next ten days.
