DRINK AND SUICIDE.
GREYMOUTH, Sept. 9.
An inquest was held to-day touching the death of Edwin Barlow, who was found shot in his shop on Tuesday night. Evidence was given to the effect that deceased had been drinking heavily lately, and was worried over financial affairs. Tho jury returned a verdict that deceased committed suicide by shooting himself during temporary insanity, brought on by excessive drinking.
