FIRES.
Per Press Association. ASI&URTON/ March 29. Tho Bon Accord carriage and general smith works were destroyed by firn at 3 o'clock this morning. }The business was leased and worked by. John Stri'bbling and owned, by Charles Reid. The inefficient water-supply prevented the brigado from coping with the flames till the main building had been gutted, but their effort* saved twb unattached workshops. The stock-in-trade, including gigs and a quantity of tools, was insured for £300 in tho Roy4j- office, but Mr Stribbliivj e^trtiatos his loss ovor and above this at nearly £200. MiReid lutd the building insured for £100. and tho tools for £$00, both in the State offirc.
