ANTI-CHINESE MOVEMENT.

DUNEDIN, July 25.
As the outcome of the visit .and addresses by Mr. Lloyd in Dunedin, a provisional committee has been formed to keep the anti-Chinese" .movement active, and to promote educational propaganda with a view of inducing people to refrain fr6m patronising Chinese. 1 A conference will be held in Wellington in due course, and a deputation . will wait on the Premier. Mr. Lloyd, on leaving Dunedin, goes to Auckland, speaking at Christchurch and on the West Coast en route, and returning to Wellington via Napier and Palmerston North.
WELLINGTON, July 25.
At the Waterside Workers' Conference to-day a resolution was passed urging that the immigration of Asiatics should be prohibited.
