ARCHITECT'S REPORT.

The architect (Mr Sanderson) reported that the painting of the Frankley Koad School had been completed. He t ad visited Stratford, and found than the two centre rooms of the school, being wide, were somewhat dark at one side. Ho proposed to put lights in tlv* portion of the wall above the lean-to roof. These, if made to open, would also give ventilation, which was required. The estimated cost was about £12. The repairs at Cardiff had not yet be9>i attended to owing to some misunderstanding, but he had now given instructions that the work should be proceeded with. The work at West End School vas now complete with the exception «^f one or two small items. The building was now being occupied. Plans had been prepared for a bathroom at Waitara residence, new residence's at TongaI'orntu and Uruti, and additions to the school at Lincoln Road. Tenders ha-'l been called for the purchase and removal of .the old residence at Egmont Village. It was decided that the old residence at Egmont Village should bo handed over to the School Committee for a shaltei shed. The report, with the exception of the clause dealing with the alteration at Stratford School, was adopted.
