The representative match, Buller v. Marlborough, for the Seddon Shield, was played to-day. ■ Tile game was of an even nature, but the passing of Buller was superior to the local men. But for good forwards Marlborough would have suffered defeat.. .\ / . The game ended with the score six points (two tries) each. For Buller, Colvin and McPike scored, and for Marlborough O. Parker and J. McDonald scored. The attempts at goal failed.
