MESSRS. VICKERS & STEVENS' REPORT.

Messrs. Vickers & Stevens report: —

There was a good entry of cattle at our Inglewood yards, on Wednesday, a large proportion being springers and spring calvers. These were dull of sale. Calves made from lls. 6d to 18s ; year steers, £1 5s to £1 9s 6d, ; empty heifers, £1 8s to £1 12s; store cows, £1 to £2 8s; springers, £2 15s to £5 10s; ewes in lamb, 14s to 14s 6(1.

At Mr. Edwards' clearing sale on Tuesday the cows were a nice young lot, and made from £3 to £7 ss ; heifers, £1 19s. The Education lease was sold to Mr. Paulger at £100.

At Mr. J. W. Henwood's sale •on Thursday there was a fair attendance. The Jersey cattle were well competed for, and the pedigree cow Happy-go-Lucky made £16. A weaner out of her made £3 10s, and an 18-months heifev £10 10s. The other Jersey cows made from £5 to £8 15s; Jersey heifers in calf and empty, £2 12s to £5 ; Weaners, £2 15s ; Jersey bulls, £5 10s and £7 10s. The crossbreds were not so well competed for; prices ranged from £3 to £6 ss.
