Messrs Jenkins, Matthews & Pigott report : — We had a fair muster of cattle at our Urenui yards on Monday, but bidding was very slow and most lines were very dull of sale. Store pigs made 7s, calves from 16s to 245, cows in calf 45s to 555, spring-

ing heifers 625, backward ditto 50s, heifer and calf 635, bulls 31s to 40s. A quantity of trees and shrubs from Morshead's Nursery brought fair prices. The entry at Waitara on Tuesday was very small, but most lines changed hands at the following prices. Store cows 30s to 60s, springing cows £4 to £5, cows in calf 55s to 655, old cows 25s to 30s. '
