SUICIDE AFTER MANY ATTEMPTS

At an in<juest concerning the duntli of an "Imperial pensioner who committed suicide, his wife stated that he had attempted to commit suicide at least a dozen times^ — generally about the time of;. full moon. Jfour or five times she had cut the rope with which he attempted to hang himself, and so saved his life.
