SELECTION COMMITTEE.

The selection committee recominend•d the following names be suh&nitted to the Ohura committee :— (JLe&d teacher), Miss A. G. Bartlett, D 2, Miss G. M. Alexander D 3, Mr P. Blair D 4, Mr G. TurkingTon 1)2; and it was suggested that appointment of assistant at this school be held over until head teacher was appointed; that the chaicma* communieafo wiifc!h Mr E. J. Patterson re the vacancy at Ton-g-aporutu, and Messrs J. P. V-esey and G. .W. Phillips re vacancy at tWo halftime schools at Purangi and Matau; Mr Becker at Punowhakau be inforjned the Makahu committee is prepared to recomonend 'him for appointment at that school if he is <Kspiosed to accept, and should Mr Becker accept Makahu the cKairman make an appointment to Punewhakau.
