CHAIRMAN'S REPORT.

The chairman reported making appointments as follows :— 'Miss Mead, Lower Mangorei school; Mr E. Ewart, at Uruti; Miss V. S. Smith," Toko; Dtfr J. G. Dromgool, secondary staff, Stratford. (Mr Vf. Colee, who was appointed to the primary staff, had refused the position, which had been filled byMrW. H. Johnson,, of the Boys' College, Nelson. Extras amounting to £15 'had been authorised at tihe FHaroy school, but a cupboard, to cost '£1 15s, was still retired. It was decided to supply the cupboard, and the report was adopted.
