The committee recommends! inter alia r— (Fitzroy : Architect lvalue out offices and to endeavour to effect a sale; lAwatuma : matter of painting school interior be considered when painting tenders next invited and renewal of blinds be considered at same time; Okato: architect erect partition i» school, a*d Mr Aldlam report on •fencing; Rowan : new blinds bo sup- 1 pKed; Pcoribrofce-roald : the comjnittae be asked why water in tanks unfit for use, and forms and fire-place be repaired; Pukearuhe : Board (pay lor one cord of firewood; Waihi : usual subsidy £7 10s >b* granted for erection shelter shed: Tongaporutu : Board cannot depart from its rule not to ,pay banking charges on cotaunittees' accounts, but arratagemeaits being made to improve present position; Whangamojnona : architect put residence in good repair; Elthiain-roa'd : enqjuiry to be made what is the nature and cost of proposed additions to teacher's residence; TokoT: Board cannot m&ke- additions asked for out of maintenance grant, btut application be made to thej Department for special grant for thej purpose ; Te Kiri : ask why additions to premises necessary, and estimated coat, then, application be made to De- 1 partment for special grant; Purangi : necessary wire and staples be supjplied to erect a fence on the school site; Punewhakau : wire and staples be Supplied for fence, and com&nittee roquest adjoining! owner toi conrtribirte share of cost; Matau and Hfuiiro : to bo similarly informed. The treport was adopted. The Finance Comttnittee recommended acceptance of painting tenders as follWs a— !A.
