Tho Department o£ Agriculture acknowledged receipt of correspondencewhich 'had passed between the Council and tho local Inspector of iN'oxious Weeds on the Council's! reserves on Toko-road, and intimated \ that the Department's Inspector in Chargxj at Wauganui had mado an inspection o£ tho land referred to, and reports that the occupiers . have taken reasonable steps to keep tho weeds in check.
