Troops lined the route to the Cathedral, along which dense crowds had. gathered. -Dr. Jameson and the Premier (Sir" James Gordon Sprigg) were included in the pall-bearers, and „Mr Rhodes' brothers and representatives of Lord Milner ana Sir Francis HelyHutchinson" (the Governor) w6i"c amongstthe mourners. _< The procession included .all" the leading public men, in South Africa, many members of tiie Afrikander Bond, and representatives . of .
