Wellington, April 4. i— Tjhe» vacancy in the Bisley team has-been filled by the appointment of Colour-Ser-geant (now Lieutenant)- Okoy. Taranaki RifleX "New Plymouthi Wellington; 'AgrfilS.—Mrs Soinwer-. ville having improved in health Col,onel Sommerville has fallen in with the Government's desire' that '" ho should command the team of Riflemen who are to represent New Zealand at Bisley, ajad the Colonel . and his -wife will accompany the team, leaving Wellington; on' the- 34th. in the Paparoa. Colonel Sommerville notifies that the special Fraser match rifle, which .the team .will use at Bisley, will not 'be issued until the men arrive in England. . Meanwhile he urges those who have been selected to practice as much as possible at the .200 yards range, standing ; and five hundred yards 'kneeling. The team will be clad in similar uniform to the New. Zealand Coronation Contingent. Auckland,- April 5. — Replying- to aprotest that no Aucklanders are in the Bisley team the Premier says tlio selection made was executed by the Ride Association, and he cannot interfere.
