Syikjey, January 25. The Eastern Extension Cable Com{Mny's steamer Recorder has arrived to «ffect repairs in the cable between New Zealand and Australia. The fault exists about 400 miles off the New Zealand coast. The vessel will also shift the Australian end of the cable to a new station recently erected at La Perouse. Owing to the interruption of the Singapore cables, some alteration in the vessel's instructions may take place, as the Company's other repairing steamer, the Sberard Osborne, is at Hong Kong.
