SUDDEN DEATH OF MRS B. BISHOP.
A suddi:n death occurred between 10 and 11 o'clock on Tuesday night, Mrs B. Bishop, wife of Mr B. Bishop, of Ddwson-street, espiring ion the verandah of the Police Station, while on her way homo in company with her husband, from Mr G. Garry's concert. Mr and Mrs Bishop had got as far as the Police Station when Mrs Bishop felt fatigued, sat down on the verandah, and shortly afterwards expired. Mr Bishop and Constable Gray, who came out of the Police Station, did all they could for the sufferer. The cause of death is supposed to be failure of the heart's action. Mrs Bishop leaves a grown up family, the majority of whom are residents of this district, to mourn their loss. An inquest « considered unnecessary as Mrs Bishop had received medical attention for heart complaint for some time.
