Bulls, January 1. — The Bangitikei races came off to-day. Although the j weather was showery, there was a large attendance. Results : — Grandstand HANDiCAP.-Monte Carlo, 1 ; Kalmea, 2 ; King John, 3. Dividend, £2 11s. HuIIULES. — Bangipai, 1 ; Sunbeam, 2. Dividend, £1 14 a. Hack Hurdlus. — Kahurangi, i ; Spireydon, 2 ; Narrate, 3. Dividend, £3 Bs. Cup. — Irish Twist, 1 ; Westmere, 2 ; Musket, 3. Dividend, £1 9s. St. Andrew's Plate. — Kirig Jo"nn,- 1 ; Variety, 2 ; Bonovoree, 3. Dividend, £7 16s. Flying Handicap.— lrish Twist, 1 ; Cheque, 2 ; Kalmea, 3. Dividend, £1 6s. Umslopogas won the Hack Flat, paying £7 12s.
