WRECK NEAR FRENCH PASS.
BARQUE GAZELLE LOST.
ONLY ONE MAN SAVED
[PER I'RESS ASSOCIATION.] Neslon, February 5. — The barque Gazelle, from Rocky Island to Lyttelton, was wrecked near the French Pass early on Saturday morning. The captain of the Grafton, which arrived on Sunday night, reports nine lives lost, one man only being saved. Merely spars left on the rocks.
The steamer left at midnight on Sunday for the scene of the wreck. Four bodies have been washed ashore.
